Choosing a mode for a vamp

Concept

When a song sits on one chord (a 'vamp'), pick the mode that fits. Major chord → try Mixolydian for bluesy, Lydian for floaty, Ionian for plain. Minor chord → Dorian for hopeful, Aeolian for sad, Phrygian for dark/Spanish. The choice IS the artistic decision.
